KEDO office opens

Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- A local office of the Korean Peninsula Energy Development Organization (KEDO) was set up in Kumho area Monday for the soon-to-be-started project for light-water reactors, which are to be supplied to the DPRK by the United States under the DPRK-U.S. agreed framework.
The office will take charge of all the technical and practical affairs arising in the implementation of the LWR supply agreement and protocols in direct link with the DPRK department in charge of the LWR project.
