The Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru awarded international diplomas to President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
An event took place in Lima on February 6 to convey the diplomas.
It was attended by General Secretary Victor Oliva Miguel, other members of the Peruvian party and the DPRK ambassador to Peru.
The Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru has decided to award the diplomas to the peerlessly great men of heroic Korea, who defeated US and Japanese imperialists, turned the DPRK into a power that is independent, self-supporting and self-reliant in defence and demonstrated its dignity to the world, the general secretary said.
“Our party signed the historic Pyongyang Declaration and has continued to conduct activities to bolster up friendship with the DPRK,” he asserted.
The DPRK, in which all the people are rallied firmly around the Party and leader, is the fortress of socialism with inexhaustible military strength and a model to be copied by progressive peoples in their struggle, he noted.
“We’ll, in the future, too, render invariable support and encouragement to the just cause of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Korean people. I’m honoured to present the international diplomas, on behalf of the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru, to the great leaders of Korea and the Supreme Leader who carries on their ideas and cause successfully.”
The general secretary conveyed the diplomas to the DPRK ambassador.
The diplomas say that the Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru confers international diplomas on the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu in recognition of their undying feats performed for the development of the Party and the victorious cause of socialism in the DPRK and the accomplishment of the human cause of independence against imperialism.
