The State Merited Chorus gave a grand congratulatory performance in the DPRK on April 16 in honour of the participants of the military parade marking the 105th birth anniversary of President

Kim Jong Un
, Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army, enjoyed the performance together with the participants.
Among the audience were Hwang Pyong So, Choe Ryong Hae, Kim Ki Nam and commanding officers of the KPA.
Put on the stage were colourful numbers such as male chorus "The President and General Are Together," mixed chorus and male chorus "Glory to the Workers' Party of Korea", male chorus "We Wish Supreme Commander Good Health" and male solo "Soldiers Live Near the General."
The performers sang high praises of the greatest honour of the service personnel and people of the DPRK dynamically advancing towards the immensely rosy future of the great Paektusan nation, being blessed by President
Kim Il Sung
and Chairman
Kim Jong Il
, holding them in the highest esteem as the eternal Sun of Juche for all ages.
The audience was mesmerized by the songs praising the exploits

When the performance was over, all the performers and participants in the military parade broke into enthusiastic cheers of "hurrah!"
He waved back to them and congratulated the artistes on their successful performance.
He expressed expectation and conviction that all the participants in the military parade would firmly uphold the cause of the Sun with the arms of Paektusan by carrying forward the history and tradition of steady victories of the revolutionary cause of Juche which started and advanced with arms, and creditably discharge their noble missions and duties in defending socialism and accomplishing the cause of building a socialist power.
