Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- Now south Korea is suffering disgrace as servant of outsiders without independence owing to the preceding ruling quarters who persisted in confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north, while seeking power and glory in return for selling off national dignity and interests to outside forces, Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a commentary.

Disclosing the traitorous acts of the pro-U.S. conservative group going against national independence, the commentary goes on:

Although the south Korean authorities turn to outside forces over the "nuclear issue of the north", "special envoys" of south Korea dispatched to the U.S., China and other countries suffer diplomatic contempt and cold reception for failing to take their proper seats at diplomatic meetings.

Such isolation and crisis faced by south Korea is the due outcome of the deep-rooted policy of dependence on outsiders pursued by the Park Geun Hye group which was obsessed with pro-U.S. sycophancy.

The DPRK set forth the noble idea of great national unity calling upon all Koreans who love the country and nation to get united close, prioritizing the common interests of the nation, irrespective of idea, political view, ism, class and social stratum, and it has made every possible effort to realize it.

However, the pro-U.S. conservative group of south Korea, keen on dependence on outsiders, has been obsessed by escalating confrontation with the fellow countrymen, in conspiracy with outsiders, indifferent to the DPRK's compatriotic stand and proposal for settling the national issue, the reunification issue by the concerted efforts of the nation.

A grim situation in which a war may break out any moment is prevailing on the Korean peninsula. This is an inevitable outcome of the policy of depending on outsiders pursued by the pro-U.S. conservative forces who have been hell-bent on the moves for a war against the north in collusion with the aggression-minded outsiders.

The south Korean authorities should no longer resort to the foolish act of depending on outsiders of inviting misfortune, clearly mindful that dependence on outsiders will lead them to ruin.

We will neither tolerate any attempt of outsiders to realize their aggressive and dominationist ambition while interfering in the internal issue of the nation, the reunification issue, nor pardon traitors who sell off the interests of the nation while kowtowing to outsiders.

National independence is the only way of unity, peace, reunification and prosperity, and dependence on outsiders will lead to disgrace, submission and ruin. -0-
