Photo Session with Participants
in 8th KCU Congress
Kim Jong Un
, Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army, had a photo session with the participants in the 8th Congress of the Korean Children's Union.
When he appeared at the venue of the photo session, KCU delegates presented a fragrant bouquet to him and put a red tie around his neck.
The 8th Congress of the KCU was an important occasion for further developing it into the eternally glorious

’s and
Kim Jong Il
’s organization of children, he said, and warmly congratulated the participants who displayed over the world the spirit of three million KCU members fully preparing themselves to be reliable reserves for building a socialist power and true successors to the youth league by steadfastly carrying forward the traditions of the Anti-Japanese Children's Corps and the lineage of Paektu.
Expressing the belief that the participants in the congress would bring about a new revolutionary turn in the KCU work and strengthen it into the rank of future heroes of the powerful Paektusan nation, being always ready for socialist Korea, he had a photo session with them.
Present at the photo session were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee; Ri Il Hwan, department director of the WPK Central Committee; and Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League.
