The Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory has recently unveiled several kinds of cosmetics.
They include functional, curative and haircare cosmetics which have different skincare as well as beautifying effects. As they are made by separating, extracting and combining effective natural materials like Kaesong Koryo insam by means of advanced technologies, they help maintain the health and beauty of skin while doing no harm to human body despite long-time use.
The factory has increased the variety of such functional cosmetics as whitening, ageing-retarding and ultraviolet rays-preventing ones and enhanced their functions to meet the needs for clean, healthy and soft complexion.
The Unhasu-brand whitening cream and lotion, new products of the factory, are the most sought-after functional cosmetics as they help brighten suntanned skin and ensure natural beauty. A month of usage makes the whitening effect noticeable and freckles, black spots and moles fade or disappear.
The ageing-retarding cream keeps the skin elastic with swift penetration of natural moisturizing agents and nutrients and an ultraviolet rays-preventing cream prevents the formation of red spots and pigmentation of melanin on the skin.
There are also a variety of curative cosmetics that can be used to treat pimples and hair loss, soften skin, stop body wetness and odour, remove unwanted facial hair and prevent mosquitoes from biting. The pimple curing gel and lotion are pleasant to use, have good infusibility and heal diseased skin without leaving any scar.
Haircare cosmetics for washing, protecting and make-up purposes are functional products to prevent itching, hair loss, grey hair and dandruff. Especially, the aerosol-, spray- and gel-type mousses are popular with youngsters as they are applicable to all hair styles of both men and women, and give a fine shape and beautiful shine to the hair.
New products also include hair shampoo for children and body shampoo for babies. They help children keep soft skin and maintain clean and healthy hair as they have high washing and skin protecting functions while causing no irritation to skin and eyes.
The factory now focuses on R&D to make new products with better functions and scents.
