Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- Boswa Isekombe Sylvere, general secretary of the Communist Party of the DR Congo, issued a statement on Nov. 28 to mark the 26th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's assumption of the Supreme Commandership of the Korean People's Army, the 6th anniversary of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's assumption of the KPA Supreme Commandership and the 100th birth anniversary of the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk.
The statement said:
Generalissimo Kim Jong Il pursued the Songun politics in an overall way at the end of the last century when socialist Korea met the worst trial, and strengthened the KPA into an invincible army through his ceaseless military inspection.
His Songun leadership exploits will shine long with prosperity of the DPRK.
History knows many women famed for their contributions to the progress and prosperity of their countries and nations, but there has been no prominent political activist like Kim Jong Suk, revered by the Korean people as the anti-Japanese war heroine, who dedicated her all to the people's freedom and happiness.
We pay high tribute to her who made immortal contributions to Korea's liberation and building of a new country.
Marshal Kim Jong Un, who is creditably carrying forward the revolutionary cause of the preceding leaders, has firmly defended peace and stability of the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world, resolutely smashing every challenge of the U.S. and other hostile forces.
He made sure that a fresh line of simultaneously developing the two fronts has been invariably implemented and thus brought about a radical turn in the DPRK's strategic position and enhanced the country's political and military might in every way.
That's why all the Korean people are upholding his leadership in a single mind, absolutely trusting and following him. -0-
