This year, the international community is raising voices against the US high-handedness and tyranny.
Russia is strongly reacting to the moves of the US which has been trying hard to control the former it views as a potential enemy.
Russian President Vladimir Putin censured the US interference, saying dogs bark but the caravan passes on, with regard to the Department of Treasury’s “Kremlin report”, a list of members of the presidential administration, government, Federation Council and State Duma, as well as chiefs of major companies and banks.
Referring to the fact that the US Department of State added Russia to the list of the countries that people should refrain from travelling, an official Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman said in a press conference that it is nothing but a sophism aimed at whipping up hysteria against Russia and implant animal horror against Russia among the Americans.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro Moros said that he would never tolerate the US’ outrageous infringement on its sovereignty, branding the latter’s sanctions measures against his country as illegal.
The Iranian President noted that the US has lost its political face in the UN Security Council, saying that the US became the butt of criticism though it planned to interfere in the internal affairs of Iran by abusing its position as a permanent member of the UNSC.
A senior military adviser to the leader of the Iranian Islamic revolution issued a statement to strongly denounce the US decision to recognize Kuds as Israel’s capital. He asserted that it was a turning point in the world political history that 128 countries cast votes against the US in the UN last year in defence of the rights of the Palestinians and Kuds, the capital of Palestine.
The US comes under fire of the international community for the military actions it is taking in Syria and Pakistan under the signboard of “anti-terror war” and its civilian massacres in the countries.
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates branded the US scheme to organize an armed group of 30 000 in the north of Syria at a time when the “Islamic State” is on the verge of destruction due to the fierce offensive by the Syrian government forces as a flagrant act of aggression to divide the country and a violation of international law. It also described the US deliberate manslaughter of civilians as a blatant violation of international law.
A Syrian human rights organization said that the number of civilians killed by the Counter Terrorism Service involving the US and its allies between 2014 and September 2017 amounted to more than 2 600.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry also said the US drone attack is a unilateral act that is of no help to combating terrorism while hitting out the US drone attack at a refugee camp in the country’s northwestern border area.
