Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- The respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un received a letter from the General Association of Koreans in China on Aug. 15, the 73rd anniversary of Korea's liberation.
The letter said that the anti-Japanese revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung to remain long in the national history always go down as he embarked on the anti-Japanese road in his teens with a lofty aim of national liberation and liberated the country, overcoming all sorts of hardships in the cold-wind-swept dense forests of Mt Paektu for more than 20 years.
Leader Kim Jong Il impregnably consolidated the anti-imperialist military front of the Korean revolution with his original Songun politics as required by the developing revolution and led the Korean people' struggle for defending the country and socialism to a brilliant victory by providing a powerful self-defensive war deterrent, it noted.
It stated that Kim Jong Un , who regarded the realization of the great Generalissimos' noble patriotic desire for building a powerful country as his duty, added luster to their immortal revolutionary careers and valuable exploits for all ages by opening a new chapter of the cause of immortalizing the great leaders and brought about a new chronicle of the victory of Juche Korea by giving full play to the mental power of the army and people under the uplifted banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
It praised Kim Jong Un as the destiny and future of the 80 million Koreans and another peerless hero whom the Korean nation acclaimed.
It stressed that all Koreans in China would make a tangible contribution to the patriotic work for the homeland, always bearing in mind the loving care of Kim Jong Un for the General Association of Koreans in China.
