The 5th national football tournament of school football teams took place in Pyongyang from August 7 to 16.
The tournament was held, divided into a contest in football rhythmic exercise and football matches. It brought together more than 750 school boys and girls of football teams of primary schools and junior and senior middle schools selected in each province.
In the events of primary schools the boy players of Tongan Primary School of the Central District and the girl players of Mangyongdae Primary School of the Mangyongdae District won the prize.
In the events of junior middle schools the boy players of Tongsong Junior Middle School of the Central District and the girl players (junior middle class) of Samhung Middle School took the first place.
In the events of senior middle schools the boy players of Tongan Senior Middle School of the Central District and the girl players(senior middle class) of Samhung Middle School came first.
A prize awarding ceremony was held on Thursday.
