Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Tuesday says in an article that the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" is a historic milestone for prosperity common to the nation.

The "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" is a declaration of common prosperity for a balanced development of the national economy through more brisk exchange and cooperation between the north and the south based on the principles of reciprocity and common interests and prosperity.
It is a realistic peace declaration to make this land a permanent and solid peace area by thoroughly terminating the danger of war and the hostile relations on the Korean peninsula.
It is quite natural that not only the Koreans in the north, the south and abroad but also the international community are fervently supporting and welcoming the historic "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration".
No matter how desperately a handful of traitors work to stem the trend of times, they can never play down the significance of the Panmunjom declaration and the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" which are being supported and approved by the whole Korean nation and check the desire and will of the people from all walks of life in south Korea to thoroughly implement the declarations and open up a new era of independent reunification, peace and prosperity.
The Panmunjom declaration and the "September Pyongyang Joint Declaration" are the milestones common to the nation reflecting the aspiration and wishes of all the compatriots to bring a bright future of the nation.
