Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung formed the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU), the root of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the eternal foundation of the Korean revolution, on October 17, Juche 15 (1926).
That day, the President delivered a report "Let Us Overthrow Imperialism" in which he set forth its action programme consistent with the anti-imperialist independent stand.
In the action programme he clarified that in order to achieve the liberation and independence of Korea, it is necessary to defeat Japanese imperialism and, furthermore, overthrow all the imperialists.
The history left a bitter lesson that one should fight against the invaders only with bayonet as they brandish bayonet, but it had been left as a mere lesson for a long time as nobody saw through the weakness of "powerful" imperialism, and any political party or organization had not set forth it as its programme.
Indeed, President Kim Il Sung is a peerlessly great man who advanced the programme of anti-imperialist independence in his teens, declared the life-and-death war against the Japanese imperialists occupying Korea and proclaimed the confrontation with all the imperialists. -0-
