Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- Personages of Cambodia and Nepal paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK embassies in their countries to mark the 21st anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il 's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the 73rd founding anniversary of the WPK.
The visitors placed bouquets and flowers at art works depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together.
Among them were the vice-chairman of the FUNCINPEC Party of Cambodia and his party, the general secretary of the C.C., Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) who is former deputy prime minister of Nepal, the chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics, the chairman of the Nepalese Association for Supporting the Songun Politics, the chairman of the Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal.
The vice-chairman of the FUNCINPEC Party said he extended warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un , chairman of the WPK, in the name of the FUNCINPEC Party on the occasion of the significant days of the Korean people.
Our party regards the special relations with the dignified WPK as its honor and will extend invariable support and solidarity to the stand of the Korean party and government in the future, too, he added.
The general secretary of the C.C., Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) said that the WPK could advance along the road of victory without any failure and turns and twists since its foundation as it has been led by the prominent great men.
The chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics noted that Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il built up the WPK into a genuine mother party which serves the people and into a popular party deeply rooted among the popular masses.
