Living Monument—Hwapho Gold Spring Water

A mysterious spring water gushes out of Paksanho Valley in Hwapho-ri, Phyongsong City, South Phyongan Province.

As the water contains a fixed amount of various ions including gold, silver and selenium, people call it gold spring water and longevity spring water.

It is mild hard water, which belongs to smaller molecule water with an association degree of 8.

So, the water is absorbed into the body rapidly to improve metabolism of cells. It has a special effect on the treatment of digestive disorders and detoxification.

A resident in Hwapho-ri, who drinks it regularly, said: It has a remarkable therapeutic value. Our villagers are free from diseases and there are many macrobians among them. It is attributable to the water, I think.

Ri Yong Ok resident in Phyongsong City said: Since I began to drink this water I have a sound sleep and feel refreshed, almost to a miracle.

The spring water has been registered as a living monument and is well preserved and managed in the country.

Phyongsong City built a factory in the valley and is supplying its citizens with the water.

The demand for the water is on the daily increase.
