This is the second time for me to take part in the schoolchildren’s new year performance in the homeland.
Last time I performed a dance, but I sang a song this time.
My artistic ability was poor as it was not so long since I took up vocal music, but I have learned a lot in the homeland.
Vocal and speech training teachers in the homeland taught me one by one how to produce sound, take breath, represent emotion and pronounce words.
Thanks to their devotion, our performance won a big hand from the audience.
As we sang in song We Will Defend Our School’s Toll, I will defend national dignity and soul with songs.
It is my dream to become a singer of the Kumgangsan Opera Troupe so as to give great strength and encouragement to the Korean residents in Japan.
