Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, made public a statement in support of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's New Year Address.
He said that Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address reviewed the successes made last year, set forth the tasks for socialist construction in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea this year and clearly indicated the ways for ensuring lasting and durable peace on the Korean peninsula and improving the DPRK-U.S. relations.
Noting that he was deeply impressed by the firm faith of Kim Jong Un to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche without fail and his warm love for and trust in the people, he went on:
Chairman Kim Jong Un advanced the slogan "Let us open a new road of advance for socialist construction under the uplifted banner of self-reliance!" and said that the DPRK should rely on its own technical forces and resources and the high creative spirit and revolutionary enthusiasm of all the people so as to succeed in attaining the strategic goals of national economic development and enter a new stage of growth.
His New Year Address calling for greater strides in the struggle to boost inter-Korean relations, achieve peace and prosperity and reunify the country in the New Year 2019 reflects his will to make the Korean people, who have suffered from national division for a long period, reunify the country by their own efforts and lead a happy life.
Chairman Kim Jong Un expressed the will to make positive efforts to usher in an era of peace and cooperation desired by the world.
The future of Korea is rosy thanks to Chairman Kim Jong Un, who bravely overcomes any difficulties. -0-
