KPA Will Add Eternal Luster to Its Ever-victorious History and Tradition
As the KPA was founded, the Korean people’s centuries-old desire could be realized and the DPRK could advance along the road of independent development guaranteed by its own strong armed forces from the first day of its founding.
The history of revolutionary leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il remains a sacred one that set an example of the times in building revolutionary armed forces with outstanding wisdom and indefatigable leadership.
President Kim Il Sung founded the KPA, Juche-type revolutionary regular army, in a matter of less than three years by setting forth the founding of a strong regular army as an indispensable requirement for the building of a sovereign and independent state after the liberation of Korea and pushing ahead with army building with his unique army-building idea and energetic leadership. The KPA won a brilliant victory in the Fatherland Liberation War and has grown to be the invincible ranks that can crush any formidable enemy at a single blow, smashing the adventurous provocations of the enemies at every step.
The credit for it is the wise leadership of the President.
The Songun revolutionary leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il was the driving force of a radical change in the ideological and moral traits, combat preparedness and the appearance of the KPA as befitting a regular army. At the most rigorous and difficult time when the DPRK struggled against the allied forces of the world imperialists without any wing and aid, the heroic KPA performed brilliant feats in the first line of the revolution under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.
The KPA led by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, the peerlessly illustrious commander, is further demonstrating its might as an invincible revolutionary army and performing world-startling heroic exploits in the building of a powerful socialist country.
