Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- Japanese intellectuals held a press interview at the Hall of the members of the House of Representatives in Tokyo on Feb. 6 to demand the Japanese authorities reflect on and apologize the Japanese imperialists' occupation of Korea, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.
They released a statement signed by more than 20 intellectuals including professors, lawyers and pressmen.
The statement said the military occupation of Korea by the Japanese imperialists went down in the histories of the two nations as a shadowy part and that it can never be erased.
It noted that the reflection and apology constitute a fundamental key to the sustainable development of the Japan-Korea relations.
