The immortal flower Kimjongilias are bringing into full bloom in the Kimjongilia greenhouse of the International Friendship Botanical House of the Central Botanical Garden on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star, the most auspicious holiday of the Korean people.
Kimjongilia is a celebrated flower that came into being in reflection of great admiration and respect of the Korean people and the world progressives for Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Cultivators of the greenhouse have laid material and technical foundations to provide sufficient temperature, sunlight, water and fertilizers, which are vital to the floriculture, and cultivated over one thousand red Kimjongilias, big and beautiful, every year.
They have kept growing the flowers in all seasons in spite of unfavourable weather conditions by directing efforts to the management of environment. They raise all the flowers sturdily by fully ensuring the temperature and humidity of the greenhouse and watering and manuring the flowers in a scientific manner. They also positively conduct the work for generalizing and disseminating the scientific and technical achievements and experience gained in the flower cultivation.
The flowers of the greenhouse representing the reverence for Chairman Kim Jong Il will beautifully adorn the venue of the 23rd Kimjongilia Festival.
