Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- Organizations of Germany and Nigeria issued statements on February 9 and 13 to mark the 75th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.
The German Branch of the Korean Friendship Association said in its statement:
Kim Jong Il formulated the Songun politics as the main political mode under socialism and turned the DPRK into a full-fledged nuclear weapons state and a space power.
The DPRK is shedding its rays as the beacon of hope for the progressive mankind.
Kim Jong Il, who fully inherited President Kim Il Sung's idea of national reunification, made sure that the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration were adopted to provide a historic milestone for accomplishing the cause of reunification.
The Korean people and the world revolutionary people are splendidly celebrating his 75th birth anniversary as a common holiday of humankind, boundlessly revering him.
The Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association in its statement said that the progressive mankind are praising the immortal exploits Kim Jong Il performed for the Korean revolution and the cause of world independence.
Through his energetic ideo-theoretical activities, Kim Jong Il developed the Juche idea, the Songun idea founded by Kim Il Sung, into the guiding idea of the DPRK and the great idea showing the road ahead of the independence era, it said, adding:
He strengthened the Workers' Party of Korea into an ever-victorious guiding force and turned the DPRK into a dignified socialist fortress and the Korean People's Army into the invincible revolutionary armed forces.
His lifelong exploits will shine forever as the most precious heritage guaranteeing the victorious advance of the human cause of independence.
