Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- Meetings to vow to thoroughly carry out the tasks set forth by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address were held at units in the field of science and education and in major industrial sectors of the national economy.
Reports and speeches were at the meetings.

Reporters and speakers said that Kim Jong Un's New Year Address is a militant banner helping to open up bright prospects for taking a step forward in socialist construction by expanding the capability of independent development of the country.

They noted that the Supreme Leader proudly reviewed 2018 in which the Korean people turned out, believing in their own strength, to achieve greater development despite fierce economic blockade and sanctions and comprehensively indicated the tasks and ways for struggle to bring about a revolutionary upsurge on all fronts of socialist construction this year.

They called upon all the officials, Party members and working people to successively attain the strategic goals for the development of national economy with an indefatigable spirit of self-reliance by adhering to the new strategic line of the Workers' Party of Korea.
